What We're Buying & How:

We are now buying spring & summer clothing in all children's sizes (preemie to preteen), and maternity. We especially need maternity clothes and kid's sizes 2 -8, jogging strollers, baby equipment & TOYS. Earn some quick, extra cash just by cleaning out. Plus, we'll give you 20% more if you take your payment as in store credit. We buy Halloween costumes, ski wear and jeans all year round. Equipment items we need include strollers, car seats, exersaucers, walkers, pack & plays, gates, bouncy seats, swings and high chairs.

Our buying process is fast and efficient. Unlike some of our competitors you won't be waiting days to have your items purchased and we won't run out of cash and force you to take store credit. We always offer cash up front and have your offer ready the same day you bring your items in.

Depending on your schedule and the number of items you bring in, we can usually purchase them while you wait. It's first come, first served, so the wait time can vary from just a few minutes to over an hour depending on the number of people in line and the number of items you have. You can minimize your wait time by carefully following our buying guidelines listed below. If you do plan to wait, please limit the amount you bring to no more than 2 normal size storage bins. This helps keep the wait time reasonable for everyone.

If you're crunched for time, you're always welcome to drop your items off. If you decide to leave the store before we make you an offer, you will be required to give us your approval to tag and sell your items as soon as we are done buying them.  This means you can't say "no" when we call with the offer. If you want the items back that we can't use, we will ask you to wait in the store while we do a quick presort. If you don't want to wait for a presort, we will be happy to donate the items we can't use and provide you with a tax receipt for those items.

Our normal buying hours are 10:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday. There is a limit to the amount of merchandise we can physically take in each day, so we will occasionally have to cut off buying earlier than 4:00. We don't want to turn anyone away, so it's always best to call first and try to arrive as early in the day as possible.  Have questions about your specific items? Our Buying Guidelines:

• Current Clothing Styles--purchased new within the last 2 years. Most brands have date tags, we do check them.
• Children's sizes from preemie to preteen: girls up to 5jr, boys up to size 20.
• Maternity wear needs to have been purchased new within the last 2 years. Maternity brands only.
• Recently laundered and wrinkle free.
• Smoke, pet hair and stain free.
• Sets placed together (we pay more for outfits!)
• Snaps snapped and buttons buttoned
• All clothing laid flat or neatly folded in a plastic storage bin, laundry basket or shopping bag - NO PLASTIC BAGS or hangers please!
• Toys must be clean, safe and have all their pieces. We carefully check all recall lists.
• Equipment items must be clean, safe and in working order. There must be a brand name and model# so we can check for recalls. All items with fabric covers (high chairs, bouncers, exersaucers, etc) must be freshly laundered.
• Carseats must have the manufacture date, model # and instruction manual. You can print instruction manuals off most manufacturers' websites. Infant carseats can't be more than 2 years old; Toddler and booster seats can't be more than 4 years old.

Items We Don't Purchase:

• Anything that has been recalled. Courtesy of the new CPSIA law (effective 2/10/09), it is now a criminal offense for anyone to sell a recalled item, this includes on ebay, craig's list, and at consignment & garage sales. • Any type of bedding, nursing pillows and breast pumps.
• Cribs & toddler beds.
• Gates that require hardware to mount. We DO buy pressure mounted gates.
• Video games, VHS tapes and any toys that contain small magnets.
• Most stuffed animals, especially those that have buttons or any type of detachable eyes.
• Children's jewelry.
• Furniture items that weigh more than 50lbs as we don't have the equipment to safely move it.
